Posted by Ann Celestine
June 25, 2012

Of special value to Med One Histology students is the UMHS Portal to the Bacus Virtual Microscope Image Bank. The database features around 100 high-resolution, histological slide images to aid your study of the microscopic structure of human tissue  ~ but without needing the microscope!

The left-hand sidebar hosts an index arranged by organ system and the navigation features allow you to zoom in and out, focusing on different sections of the virtual slide.

Also linked on the Med One Toolki under the Histology section.
