    Neilal Isaac, M.D., MMEd

    Dr. Neilal Isaac is a medical doctor from Grenada. She earned her medical degree from St. George’s University- Grenada, along with a Diploma in Higher Education in medical sciences (with distinction) from the University of Northumbria in Newcastle- England. Dr. Isaac has also completed a master's degree in medical education from the University of Dundee- Scotland and a certificate in Executive Leadership for Healthcare Professionals from Cornell University. Her academic interests include enhancing learning and supporting student wellness through strategic curriculum design for inclusive education and coaching in academic medicine.

    Before joining the faculty at UMHS, Dr. Isaac worked at St. George’s University in the Department of Anatomical Sciences. While working at St. George’s University she also became an instructor in the American Heart Association's Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Courses. She has also completed several educational certificate programs in University Teaching, offered at St. George’s University, including: Scholarly Foundations in Teaching and Learning; Research in Teaching and Learning; and Leadership in Teaching and Learning.
