Yes. Your application can be saved at any time, allowing you to return later to complete remaining sections or upload documents.
Yes. If you have completed a common application through AMCAS, AACOMAS, OMSAS, or TMDSAS, you can upload a PDF version within your UMHS application. This allows you to skip re-entering much of your academic and personal information.
You will need transcripts (from all colleges and universities you’ve attended) and two letters of recommendation. If you have completed a common application, uploading it may reduce the amount of information you need to enter.
U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and applicants who completed undergraduate studies in the U.S. are required to submit MCAT scores taken within the past three years. Canadian and international applicants are not required to submit the MCAT, but if you have taken it, all attempts must be reported. Uploading a screenshot of your scores in the application is the easiest way to submit them.
UMHS requires a $75 nonrefundable application fee, which can be paid online or by check or money order. Payment instructions will be provided during the application process.
Once your application and supporting documents are received, the Faculty Admissions Committee conducts a preliminary review. Qualified applicants are invited for a personal interview, and our admissions team typically responds within a few hours.
UMHS offers three start terms each year: January, May, and September. Applications are reviewed on a rolling admissions basis, so you may apply at any time for an upcoming term.
