Ayo has been trained in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Computer Engineering. He holds certifications with Microsoft Systems and Cisco Systems. He is a graduate of New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, NJ, USA. His experience includes working at Continental Airlines, Newark Airport as a Warehouse Manager, Consolidated Freightways in Kearny, NJ as a Systems Engineer, and Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts as Network Administrator and I.T. Director before joining the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in 2005.

His interests include the latest technology, reading, problem-solving, family, farming, and Live edge woodwork designs.
