Ashok Kumar, Ph.D.

Associate Professor of Pathology, Course Director of Pathology 1

Dr. Ashok Kumar earned his PhD degree in Pathology from Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, Frankfurt Germany. He did his Postdoctorate from the same university in Germany. He received his D.C.P degree (Diploma in Clinical Pathology) and MBBS degree from Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS), Jamshoro, Pakistan Dr. Kumar started his teaching career in 2011.

He worked as an Assistant professor in LUMHS and Isra universities Pakistan, and King Faisal University Saudi Arabia till 2016. He worked as an Associate professor in AIMST University Malaysia till April 2021. He worked as a Professor and Course director of Pathology at Saint James School of Medicine, Anguilla till July 2022.

He has been the member of various academic committees throughout his career. Dr. Kumar has a versatile experience in teaching, clinical laboratory and research. He has many publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Kumar joined UMHS in August 2022 as an Associate professor in the Department of Pathology.
