Assistant Professor of Neuroscience
Thomas McCormack received a double major at University of California, Davis in Biochemistry and Psychology for his Bachelor's Degree. He later attended New York University Medical Center where he received his Ph.D. in Physiology/Neuroscience. Subsequently he was a Research Fellow at the University of Florida, the National Institute of Physiologic Science in Okazaki, Japan, and at NIEHS/NIH where he has published extensively in the research field of ion channels and receptors. He has taught Neuroscience and Physiology in the Caribbean and was a Visiting Professor at Istanbul Kemerburgaz University in Turkey. More recently Thomas attended St. George's University Medical School. He is an avid traveler and enjoys art films, chess, tennis, and international music.
