The UMHS Student Government Association and UMHS African Students Association hosted the second annual Charity Fashion Show at Palms Court Gardens on Saturday, October 11, 2014. This year's theme was "Castaway: Fierce Survival." Here's a look at the many great photos of the fashions of the evening, many of which were modeled by students and even a professor from UMHS, one of the best Caribbean medical schools around.

The last segment was cultural, in which students were given the opportunity to showcase music, dancing and clothing from various countries. Kajali Hanley Gumbs is a St Kitts native that portrayed his love for St. Kitts while dancing with the island's flag.

Adeola Mustapha, fashion director of the UMHS Castaway Fashion Show event, said, "On behalf of The African Students Association (ASA) and The Student's Government Association (SGA) I would like to personally thank all patrons who attended or donated towards the proceeds of the show! Castaway was a huge success that surpassed all our expectations. We appreciate everyone who participated, believed in vision and understood the ultimate cause…charity!"
