The UMHS chapter of AMWA (American Medical Women’s Association) have been promoting Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a month-long campaign throughout October.

The UMHS Endeavour looks at AMWA’s efforts to promote awareness in St. Kitts with “Pink Wednesdays” and a Breast Examination Workshop on campus.

Throughout October, the American Medical Women’s Association encouraged the student body to wear something pink every Wednesday “to show our support to this cause,” says UMHS AMWA president Stefanny Santana.
