The African Students Association is an organization that is committed to community involvement. We have done previous activities with the Holy Spirit Catholic Preschool and have remained committed to assisting them in whatever way we can.

On Friday June 20, 2014, we had our semesterly bake sale in which we raised above EC $1000. A part of the funds raised was used to make donations to the Holy Spirit Catholic Preschool, such as food items and cleaning supplies.

The Holy Spirit Catholic Preschool representatives were greatly appreciative of our help. It was quite refreshing to see the smiles on the faces of the school representatives, and how thankful they were for the help that was given. The African Students Association would like to use this opportunity to thank all of the patrons of the bake sale, both faculty and students alike, and a special thanks must also be extended to Marjorie Williams and her team of bakers, all of whom worked assiduously to make this event the wonderful success it was.
