UMHS Student Laptop Computers are Required
All students are required to bring laptop computers to classes. Students use their llaptop
computers to access each day’s lectures and slides, periodicals, journals and research databases. Students also use their laptop computers in classes such as Histology, Pathology, and in the Anatomy Laboratory.
Minimum PC Specifications are as follows:

Apple Mac Computers
Please be advised that any student with an Apple Mac computer will need the following software installed to access our histology database:
- Parallels Desktop for Mac or Boot Camp from Mac OS X Leopard/Snow Leopard or VM Ware Fusion (These software packages allow you to put a Microsoft Operating system on a Mac)
